Attorney Fees
Fees for Hiring Traffic Attorneys in Durham NC
How much is it going to cost me?
This of course is an excellent question. You will undoubtedly get numerous letters in the mail from lawyers offering their assistance.
Cheaper is not always better. Think about it. When was the last time you got a better product or service when you paid less for it?
Do you get better cakes from a local family bakery, or from Wal-Mart? A nice, local bakery, of course! That baker is in your community, knows you and your family, and wants you to have a good opinion of him so you’ll refer your friends and family. You’ll get a cheaper cake from Wal-Mart, but will it be as good? No! Because Wal-Mart’s bottom line is undercutting its competition to get more sales and make more money.
It’s the same in my business! I’m not trying to be the Wal-Mart of traffic tickets. I might charge you more than the guy doing 1000 tickets at a time, but when I handle your ticket, my mind will be on your ticket, not on the 999 other ones I have to get done before I go to the next county where I will do another 1000 tickets.
Choose a nice, local attorney, pay a reasonable fee, and you’ll get the service you
bargained for.
When you call my office, you get me. I may not answer the phone every time, but I
personally call you back every time! Guaranteed.
Who else does that? You won’t get an assistant or a secretary. You will get the
experienced, knowledgeable attorney that you need for your ticket.
Choose me, and I can promise you that.
2023 North Carolina Traffic Ticket Attorney’s Fee Schedule
Chatham Traffic Ticket Attorney’s Fee: $200
Orange Traffic Ticket Attorney’s Fee: $200
Durham Traffic Ticket Attorney’s Fee: $200
*These fees are ONLY for standard traffic tickets, including but not limited to speeding,
unsafe movement, failure to yield, following too closely. These fees are specifically
NOT for driving while licensed revoked, DWI, or any Class 2 or Class 1 Misdemeanor. I
do not represent defendants on felony charges. If you have any doubt about the fee for
your particular charge, please call me at 919-929-2992.
If your charge is for a really fast speeding ticket (25 or more over the limit) that will cost more because it’s more effort to work on those.
A few notes on my current North Carolina Traffic Ticket attorney’s fees…
I only go to the counties I go to. Right now that’s Orange and Chatham (probably won’t change) and Durham (may change!). I don’t go anywhere else. I’m too old to be running around so much.
I’m not the cheapest attorney out there. But I’m a firm believer in the idea that you get what you pay for.
My fees are based on the level of service you get from me when I represent you for your
traffic ticket, regardless of the county.
The reason the fees do vary, though you get the same quality representation and level of
service, is simply based on the time I spend on the case. I restrict my North Carolina
Traffic Ticket practice to counties that I can get conveniently and where I have good relationships. When I have to spend more time on a ticket, I am forced to charge a little more for
that time. My office is in Orange County so that and Chatham are my cheapest rates.
Durham is at the limit of my range, but I’m game to handle those for now.
Remember, you get what you pay for! Don’t go cheap!
